Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the new region established in January 2016, is an immense forest region stretching from Allier to Drôme and from Cantal to Haute-Savoie, encompassing a huge variety of forest landscapes, making the region a leading economic hub for the timber sector in France.

Lyon is a privileged hub of international relations and the surrounding region is a very attractive location.
